Throwback Thursdays: mint isn't going anywhere!

So remember over the summer,
everyone was obsessed with mint?
well mint is still alive!
let me show you...

credits to house beautiful! this lovely soft minty green kitchen paired with slight touches of yellow/gold and pinks really brings back the vintage years. The inset style and arched kick-boards add a custom touch!

designed by Garrison Hullinger,
this blueish mint color is a modern take on the popular vintage color.
the sparkly chandelier and clean white back-splash reminds me of Tiffany & Co.
By the way, where did she get that gas range?

Clean white shaker style cabinets with minty green wainscoting back-splash.
and behind the china to match!
what a dollhouse kitchen.

go mint all the way!

slight touch of mint on the ceiling with clean white modern cabinets :)

mint dining room chairs to match the kitchen... cute!

I think this is my favorite one.
I love how this person took the trend of color-blocking (different color on island)
and instead of doing the ever popular light-dark (white-black)
they did a mint color!
Looks so unique and crisp.

and fresh flowers of course!

mint tableware

ideas for small kitchens alert!
mint makes it look fresh and custom without emptying out your pockets

inset style cabinets with farmhouse sink, and built in microwave drawer.
this is a darker mint for those who really enjoy this color

again, another crisp mint color on the island!

hints of mint paired with a clean white! love!

totally retro kitchen with bright poppy red and bluish mint on slab cabinets

mint walls...mint back splash tiles... mint counter-tops??
again, the poppy red gives it a retro look

so as you can see, mint is still very popular.
No one ever really thinks about incorporating mint into the kitchen
but I think it gives it a really unique, crisp feel!
I think I might do it myself on my island :)
